This artwork is something I purchased in Provincetown, MA many moons ago. The piece itself is only about 5x7 and is embroidery on hand dyed cloth. The cloth has a sheen to it which might be silk although I'm not sure. I remember distinctly seeing it for the first time at the shop and not being able to take my eyes off of it. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the artist at the moment. I'll search for it.

Hi Hayward. That is a real work of art. I love it... It has a real autumnal feel to it and a great use of line perspective and monotonal colour contrasting with the datker tree trunks... I just want to run down that avenue and kick up the leaves as i go....
