A Couch with 340 Horsepower

This beauty has been parked quite often lately next to a freight store in town.

She looks like she just left the showroom floor. And yes, to personify a sixties era Cadillac means it is a female.

Yesterday this work of art was parked out there again so I pulled over to meet the person who owns it. Turns out a young fellow who is maybe in his late 20's or early 30's was given this car. His grandfather purchased the car new in 1967. It was later given to his Dad who then of course recently gave it to him. What a great treasure! I could tell from the guy's face that he loves it. As well he should.

Being a 1968, my Bluella was 375 horsepower with 525 torque compared to the 340 and 480 of the one above. Here she is for those of you who didn't know her when she lived with me.

Maybe there was a part of me that hoped I'd find someone who was driving that white 1967 around because they were planning to sell it. Ridiculous thought.
