This week I accompanied John to Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis for an appointment.
Washington University, much to the dismay of many students, gave an honorary degree to this woman.
She was a prominent opponent of the ERA which failed to be enacted.
This fellow was just into his first term as US President at that time.
That was also around the same time that I discovered...
I'm glad at least one good thing happened that year.
